Mother Kelly Returns to Willies
Local rock band Mother Kelly will be back on Stage at Willies
Lakeview Lounge Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30.
Chuck Tillman has joined the band, making the count now five. Tillman is a
guitarist/vocalist and has been with the band for several weeks. He played with
Rock 6X and, as lead singer Tommy Jenkins says, "things are coming together; the
band is getting a good grove on and we've been learning a lot of new material
for the two shows."
The band has added new songs by artist like Papa Roach, Shinedown, Van Halen,
Queen and Poison. Mother Kelly has done three shows at the Poncan Theatre,
including being the opening act for Molly Hatchet and Kissmania, a Kiss tribute
band.
This will be Mother Kelly's third show at Willies. The group is also scheduled
for the Fourth of July festival at Kaw Southwind Casino and the HOG rally at
Wentz Camp in October.
